Arnold's Garage was looking to restore the historical luster of their business after the failure of General Motors. Prior to becoming Arnold Pontiac, Arnold's Garage was in business decades before. The return to the Arnold's Garage name needed a historic look, but not so far separated from their Arnold Pontiac brand that their customer's would feel awry about the change.
Justin came to me at a time when his Social Media Expert career was starting to bloom. He wanted something cutting edge that would represent his social media branding and specifically his name. I made a single, fluid motion artistic merge of a J and an A to allow Justin Arnold's brand to be recognized easily and compete with the burgoning social media market.
I love creating brands, learning products, and getting a feel for what the customer believes a company's brand should portray. I made no exception when creating the stephenbair.com logo. The S is strong and bold, while the swoops represent motion, change, and a 'high tech' feeling.
The Susquehanna Stage Co. was established in 2008. As an member of the Board of Directors, I took a personal investment in the look and feel the company would take over the next few years. From the beginning, all members agreed that being a river town was a special trait the local Lancaster County theater could offer. I chose to highlight the winding of the Susquehanna river as a symbol of the theater's origin and ever moving and flowing gestures of life.
While working at Blackbarn Media, a small design and development shop in Alexandria, VA, I designed the logo for international shipping and transportation company, Wagler Logistics. The company was suffering from the lack of a strong brand identity.
